Nigel Havers has dramatically quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, just hours after complaining to producers about treatment of contestants.
The 59-year-old actor finally left camp last night, after he was seen objecting to the Kangaroo Court task, which saw camp members given electric shocks if they failed in the special trial.
Havers was seen fuming: 'I'm not up for it, I don’t do electric shocks so I’m leaving. I cannot waste another second of my life. I will probably do something drastic like probably go.
'If you are gaining something, that’s a fantastic thing. But if you’re not gaining something...'
A spokesperson for the ITV show confirmed to MailOnline that Havers had officially left.
Last night's Kangaroo Court task saw contestants in a makeshift courtroom, presided over by a toy kangaroo.
Every time the celebrities saw a baby Joey shoot out of the kangaroo, they had to bang their gavel. The slowest starts to bang their gavels were given electric shocks.
Later in the show Sheryl Gascoigne and Lembit spent the night in jungle jail after losing a task which saw the contestants compete for immunity from facing elimination in the first eviction later this week.
The task will be played out over the next three days with two celebs being sent to jail each time. By the end of the task one of the celebs will get another chance to win back their immunity meaning five contestants will face the public vote for elimination.
Havers said another reason he had decided to quit the show was because he didn't want his wife to see him 'in prison'.

Havers had also been complaining about the lack of intelligent conversation between campmates, calling many of the discussion topics 'inane', and particularly focusing on former MP Lembit Opik.
He had previously been seen growing tired of Lembit's conversation, telling him on several occasions he was 'dull'.
The actor later said: 'There has been non-stop chat, never a pause ever. I'm 59 and I don't want to waste it sitting around talking absolute b******s.'
And when new contestants Dom Joly and Jenny Eclair entered camp last week, Nigel's appearance was one of the first things they commented on, with Dom saying he looked like a 'broken man'.
He then added: 'Nigel's a man going through a certain existential despair.
'I think parts of him wonder what he’s doing here.'
But while some of his fellow celebrities appeared to anger him, Havers did strike up a friendship with former Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder.
The pair appeared to feel the same way about the non-stop conversation in camp, with both not looking too happy when This Morning's Alison Hammond set a record by becoming the thirteenth celebrity in the camp.
Before going into the jungle, Havers explained his decision, adding: 'This is the end of a crazy year for me.
'Nobody like me has ever done the show before and it strangely appealed to me. I have just finished doing Coronation Street, which I loved and now I am doing this.
'I thought I would do a year of surprising people before I go back to doing straight theatre.'
But Havers admitted his wife of three years, Georgiana Bronfman, did everything she could to stop him taking part on the ITV programme.

He said: 'My wife is furious I am doing it. She said ‘I might not be back when you come out’. She did everything she could to dissuade me not to do it.
'She can’t believe I am that stupid. She thinks actors are pretty stupid. We just don’t talk about it. She is going to Africa when this is happening.'
Meanwhile, former King of the Jungle Christopher Biggins has spoken out about Havers' exit, admitting he probably should never have agreed to take part in the show.
Biggins said: 'I don’t think he should have done it really, that’s the real problem. And I think that he completely lost it yesterday.
'That is the worst thing - boredom. Because there is nothing to do… you can’t read, you can’t look at anything, you can’t listen to anything. All you have to do is listen about people riding bikes - you talk rubbish, it’s quite simple.'

Biggins also spoke about Gillian McKeith, saying the television nutritionist should never have been allowed on the programme.
He said: 'I blame the psychiatrist - because you have to see a psychiatrist before you go in. Perhaps they were closed the day that Gillian went, because you’d never let her in would you? She needs a big piece of meat I think.'
It is unclear whether a new celebrity will be drafted in to replace Havers in the jungle.
His daughter was due to fly into Australia to meet him during the jungle evictions that start later this week, but insiders suspect she may now remain in the UK.
The actor is rumoured to be planning a return home as soon as possible to start rehearsals for his upcoming pantomine, Dick Whittington, at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
