Back to work: The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers went for old-school glamour to film the new series of her reality series last night
Fans of cult ITV2 series The Only Way Is Essex only have to wait another day before the fake tanned, vajazzled lot are back on screens.
And it seems that the stars of the show may look a little different for season two of the reality show.
The cast were hard at work filming last night at their favourite haunt, the Sugar Hut in Brentwood, and instead of barely-there mini dresses, Sam Faiers, Amy Childs and co looked decidedly more grown up.
Arriving for a night of the love triangles, alcohol-fuelled debauchery and cat fights to be caught on camera, the cast went for full on glamour.
Sam Faiers, 21, wore a full length gown for the occasion, with wavy hair and red lipstick.
The glamour model couldn't resist throwing a touch of Essex style into her outfit though, the dress had an animal print and revealing back.
She told the Sun today: 'I like bad boys. Since starting the show it's been difficult to meet guys, but I'm hopeful I'll meet Mr Right.'
Essex elegance: Glamour model Sam, 21, couldn't resist a hint of sex appeal with her backless gown, but the look is a far cry from her old Essex girl style (right)
Glamour: Amy Childs, Billie Faiers, Lucy Mecklenburgh and Sam Faiers swap their mini skirts for formal gowns
Her co-star Amy Childs, 20, also wore a formal black and white gown, though the over-the-top sequinned dress with elbow-length gloves looked more Strictly Come Dancing than Friday night out.
Lucy Mecklenburgh also wore white, opting for a floor-length gown with gathering at the front and fierce shoulders.
Sam's older sister Billie, who is joining the cast this season, wore a deep purple dress with a plunging neckline.
It wasn't just the girls putting in an extra effort for the night out - Mark Wright and Kirk Norcross also suited up.
Over the top: Amy Childs looked rather like she was auditioning for Strictly Come Dancing with her black and white gown
Cosy: Ex-couple Amy and Kirk Norcross cuddled up for the cameras... his girlfriend Lauren Pope was nowhere in sight
Kirk, who partied alongside his father, Sugar Hut owner Micky Norcross, went the extra mile with a bow-tie and suit, while Mark wore tan trousers and a navy blazer.
Ex-couple Kirk and Amy looked cosy outside the nightclub, cuddling up for the cameras and Kirk planted a kiss on the beautician's cheek.
Their brief romance ended on a sour note during season one, and Kirk is now dating DJ Lauren Pope.

New storyline? Amy and Kirk dated briefly during season one of the series
There was no sign of Lauren last night though as the pair played up for photographers.
Mark's ex Lauren Goodger was also a no-show.
Fans will be waiting to see what has become of the on/off couple this season after Wright left her in the lurch and went home with glamour model Sam at the end of Christmas special.
Lauren, 23, has failed to move on from her ex-boyfriend of nearly ten years and has undergone a transformation ahead of the second series of the show.
Dapper: James 'Arg' Argent dressed to match girlfriend Lydia Bright, in a Marilyn Monroe wig
The Essex girl has had a nose job and been on a strict fitness regime in a bid to trim her figure which Mark once branded ‘huge’.
Meanwhile Mark has split with I'm A Celebrity contestant Kayla Collins after she returned to the U.S. this month.
The Only Way Is Essex returns to our screens on ITV2 on Sunday at 10pm.
Ladies man: Kirk's father, Sugar Hut owner Micky Norcross, wasn't short of attention from the TOWIE stars
Boys will be boys: Kirk, Micky and Mark posed up inside
