Instead of acting like the world class company they could be, Apple comes across as fools.
I must admit, I'm much happier being seen with my Galaxy S.
When one is seen in this town (New York) with an iPhone they look at you like "oh, you're one of those snobs".
Yet the irony is they're a dime a dozen here.
You are totally awesome, guy. It's not just your phone, it's a message about your whole lifestyle. I too care way more about what a stranger who sees me using a phone might think than I do how it actually works. All these dime a dozen sheep buying iPhones because they're easier to use and more elegant than Android phones are total losers. How are you going to reduce the number of cables? It seems like you would still need the same number of cables.

Not really sure why Apple can't bring themselves to put an i7 by default in a $2,000 machine. That's kind of ridiculous.

Of all the things that iPhone needs soon, LTE is not one of them.
We can all wait until its widespread, and usable.
Correct, while most of the world is committed to LTE, commercial grade operational networks are not online in most markets, although deployment is happening right now.
What makes the most sense right now is bumping up the iPhone to HSPA+. Practically all GSM/UTMS markets have commercial networks open for business right now (the U.S. is basically the last), many markets have already gone to their third iteration of HSPA+ (speed increases).

I have very limited time for pictures this week. I'm taking what easy ones I can and going with it. This is my son on his "new to him" bike. It was found abandoned in Florida by my parents a few years ago. My son is finally big enough for it, and my dad cleaned it up for him last week.

In 2005 AT&T was passing out 3G SIMS like raffle tickets in phones that weren't 3G -I need some internal wireless guru to tell if that extra hand-off doesn't make a difference.

A 2G phone simply ignores the 3G features of the USIM.
As far as the 2G phone is concerned, 3G doesn't exist. It has no impact on any network (2G or 3G).

Is the reset you're referring to is in Settings - General -Reset - Reset all settings? Will it erase the sms/messages or email accounts setting?
